Multiplier Events: “Presentantion of the Handbook and e-Handbook” in Spain

In the framework of the European project Work on it!, ONECO organized two events called ‘Breakfasts with Work on it!’, with the objective of presenting the Handbook of Good Practices, which has been developed by the Consortium of the project with the help of a group of professionals oriented to employment.

Both events, which were aimed at professionals in that sector, were held at the Doña María Hotel in Seville, on October 3rd and 10th. During the first event, the Handbook was officially presented, and a space for ‘Networking and exchange of good practices’ was provided to attending professionals.

The second appointment was inaugurated with the presentation of the digital version of the Handbook, the E-Handbook. It is an interactive document that includes all the work methods provided by the guidance professionals who have collaborated with the Consortium. In addition, a creative workshop was organized for the generation of innovative projects in which new ideas were proposed by the participants and profiled by ONECO. This exchange of ideas gave rise, in turn, to a possible future collaboration among professionals for the presentation of original projects in the field of employment orientation.

At the end of both meetings, a breakfast was offered on the roof of the Hotel Doña María where the guests enjoyed the spectacular views of the Giralda and the Cathedral.

The Work on it! project is composed of a Consortium of 4 European partners from Germany, Spain, Latvia, and Bulgaria, with experience in the implementation of regional and international projects for and with young people. The goal of Work on it! is to increase the pedagogical and social skills of these professionals based on the skills they have in each country. The project is also supposed to facilitate the development of systems of local cooperation for working with youngsters from the age of 13 – students, unemployed, disabled, young people in exclusion – in order to offer them the necessary help so that they can develop their professional path and social satisfaction.
